10:00 - Remembrance Ceremony, Token Creek Cemetery
Token Creek Cemetery is adjacent to the North of Token Creek Preserve Park on Portage Rd. This event is dedicated to those brave souls who answered our country’s call to battle. Ceremonies will be conducted by the Sun Prairie VFW Posts 9362 and 8483, Wisconsin Vietnam Veterans Chapter 5 and American Legion Post 333. 10:30 - TWCA Raffle tickets and brat/hamburger sales begin

11:00 - Hiney Run
A bass-ackwards 100 yard uphill race and a Token Creek Independence Day tradition. Registration now available on line, on site registration begins at 10:30 a.m. across from the Paddle Inn, with races beginning at 11:00 AM. Click here for more details.
12:30 - Children's Decorated Vehicle Contest
Registration at 12:00 in front of the Judges stand. Categories are: Most Decorated, Most Patriotic & Most Original. One trophy will be awarded for each category and prizes for all entries. Click here for more details.
12:45 - Presentation of Colors/Circle of Freedom - Parade central
The Circle of Freedom features Presentation of Colors by US Veterans and the Pledge of Allegiance lead by local Boy Scout troops. An opportunity for everyone to reflect on the true meaning of the day’s celebration, we invite you to join in the circle.
1:00 - Parade
We welcome parade entries: Get your friends and neighbors to join the fun and be a part of the parade. We encourage all types of entries including: service groups (large or small), scout troops, neighborhoods, fire and emergency vehicles, fancy cars, marching bands, politicians, acrobatic and martial arts groups. Candies and other treats will be plentiful, as well as occasional cooling blasts of water. Click here for parade water rules. A parade of great drama and great fun, indeed! Your safety is our #1 concern!
No Water Balloons.
Only squirt water at parade contestants that are actively squirting water at you.
DO NOT squirt water on any parade entry that is not engaged in a water exchange with you.
Do not initiate a water exchange; only respond when water is directed toward you.
DO NOT run into the street; squirt water from behind the curb
Be considerate of those around you.
2) For Parade Entries
No Water Balloons.
Please do not broadcast water over large crowds of people, direct your assault only at only those wishing to be engaged.
DO NOT direct water anywhere near the Judges Tent or at any of the electronics used to broadcast sound (speakers etc.)
"A Salute to Service" is emphasized by the Parade Marshals and judges; Miliary personnel who serve us by protecting our freedom and country. Parade entries will select a category as well as a charity to receive a $100 donation. The parade will start from the south edge of town (at the intersection of Portage and Ratmann Roads - click here for parade route map and parking), proceeding down Portage Rd past parade central and then left on Mary Ida Lane (about half-way down the hill towards Hwy 19).
2:15 - Winning Parade Entry Announcement
The parade entries will compete for $100 donation to the charity of their choice (with guidance from the Token Creek Lions Club) with matching donations possible from the Token Creek Lions. Donations will only be matched once by Token Creek Lions for a selected charity: i.e. Lion's Eye Bank can only receive one matching donation from Token Creek Lions. Click here to register your entry for the Token Creek Parade!Parade categories are:Best Youth focused Entry - this entry is for the kids, a group composed of children....church group, sports club, boy scouts, girl scouts, clubs, day cares, etc. Best community focused group - this entry is for a group focused on helping there church, community, or area. Most Patriotic Vehicle decorated to show it's Patriotism spirit - Classic Cars, Motorcycles, or even the Mach V will do, new, old or even oxen driven. Most Token Creek - A reflection of our quirky community. Best Judges Bribe! - A Token Creek Tradition - Use your wit to come up with a clever and appropriate Bribe for the Judges. Deliver your bribe when your entry stops for judging at the judges tent during the parade. Wild Card - This category encompasses any entry that does not fit into our other categories
