Token Creek is a small community nestled between Madison, Sun Prairie and Deforest. In 2002,32 men and women from the surrounding communities chartered the Token Creek Lions Club and joined Wisconsin Lions, Wisconsin Lions District 27D1 and Lions Clubs International Foundation, the largest service organization in the world made up of clubs in more than 200 countries. We are a small but busy and friendly club made up of single men and women, married individuals, and married couples. We have a wide range of ages, young to senior, all bringing their interests, enthusiasm, talents and expertise. New members are always welcome. If interested please contact us or come to one of our meetings or a Lions event we are hosting or attending, we'd love to meet you.
We serve the community and have fun doing it. We have a many projects for you to get involved. Our brat sales in summer and cookie sales in winter raise money we return to the community in scholarships or supporting local charitable organizations such as Deforest Area Needs Network, Sun Prairie Sunshine Club, Wisconsin Eye Bank, and House of Hope.
With our blood sweat and tears we clean up highway 19, landscape the Deforest Library, serve a meal or 2 at the Sunshine Club in Sun Priaire, host a Red Cross Blood drive and with community support put on the Biggest Little Parade on July 4th in Token Creek. We welcome any finacial help to furthur our cause.
2nd Thursday of each month, public welcome. We have a variety programs, from community projects to Lions supported events. We have had local celebrities present their passions. Minutes to past meetings.
