The Token Creek Lions Club, based out of Token Creek Wisconsin, is a newly formed club chartered on May 17th, 2002.  We are proud and honored to join the fine men and women of the Lions and Lionesses around the world with the mission of serving our community.  Some of the projects the Token Creek Lions are involved with include:

  3. Lions Camp community awareness and support
  4. Highway cleanup
  5. Town of Burke Easter Egg Hunt
  6. Token Creek Parade
  7. Blood Drive Cookie Donations
  8. Flower Bulb Sales and Planting
  9. Salvation Army Bell Ringing
  10. Used Eyeglass Collections
  11. Wisconsin Eye Bank transportation services

Lion Clubs International...

Since 1917, Lions have served the world's population through hard work and commitment to make a difference in the lives of people everywhere. Internationally , the Lions primary activity is assistance to the blind and visually impaired.  They are also very involved with many youth initiatives.  Lions Clubs International (www.lionsclubs.org) is the world's largest service club organization with more than 1.4 million members in more than 188 countries.

"As anthropologist and ecologist, we like to travel, both vocationally and recreationally.   We will show pictures and talk about our travels through India, Pakistan, China, and Laos, focusing on the lives and livelihoods of indigenous ethnic groups."

CLUB NEWS/PROJECTS:
 


Membership Drive: RECRUIT, RECRUIT, RECRUIT    Invite friends, neighbors, or coworkers  to one of our meetings.

·         Boy Scout weekly meetings held every Tuesday @ 7pm at Scout House/Windsor – TCL members are invited to attend anytime. 

·         Ongoing project:  E-Bay virtual garage sale fund-raiser – items needed for sale – contact Ben August for more details.

·         Archiving club material:  Submit pictures, articles, etc. regarding Token Creek Lions to Mary Federer.

·         Eye Transporters:  Contact Lion Larry Gehri (Chairman/Coordinator) if you are interested in being a transporter.  E-mail: larryeg1@charter.net  (February/August are Token Creek Lions transport months)

·         Eyeglasses may be dropped off in box located at the Burke Town Hall.

·         UW Concession volunteering.
