The Token Creek Lions Club, based out of
Token Creek Wisconsin, is a newly formed club
chartered on May 17th, 2002. We are proud and honored to join the
fine men and women of the Lions and Lionesses around the world with the
mission of serving our community. Some of the projects the Token
Creek Lions are involved with include:
- Town of Burke annual picnic
- Scouting support
- Lions Camp community awareness and support
- Highway cleanup
- Town of Burke Easter Egg Hunt
- Token Creek Parade
- Blood Drive Cookie Donations
- Flower Bulb Sales and Planting
- Salvation Army Bell Ringing
- Used Eyeglass Collections
- Wisconsin Eye Bank transportation services
Lion Clubs International...
Since 1917, Lions have served the world's population through hard
work and commitment to make a difference in the lives of people
everywhere. Internationally , the Lions primary activity is assistance
to the blind and visually impaired. They are also very involved
with many youth initiatives. Lions Clubs International (www.lionsclubs.org)
is the world's largest service club organization with more than 1.4
million members in more than 188 countries.

Anthropological and Ecological Travels

"As anthropologist and
ecologist, we like to travel, both vocationally and recreationally.
We will show pictures and talk about our travels through India,
Pakistan, China, and Laos, focusing on the lives and livelihoods of
indigenous ethnic groups."
